The instructors at BHA are not only qualified and experienced in their subject areas but have a love for the Lord that provides a Godly model for our young people. It is the goal of BHA to provide strong Biblically-based academic instruction to our students along with opportunities to minister to others and serve Christ.

Robin Mauck - Director: Mrs. Mauck, a native of Georgia, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics Education and a Master of Education Degree in Education Administration. She taught Home Economics in South Carolina for 3 years and then moved to VA where she soon became a stay-at-home mom and then returned to Georgia in 1994. Mrs. Mauck has been homeschooling for 11 years, is the mother of six daughters and manages her husbandʼs auction business. Through her love of homeschooling and desire to minister to other homeschoolers, God led her to organize BHG/BHA.
Marty Payne - Treasurer: Mrs. Payne graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors' of Business Administration in Human Resources Management. After leaving a management career in retail banking, Mrs. Payne is a stay-at-home Mom that has homeschooled for eight years. She accepts the monies for BHG/BHA and keeps the financial records, as well as being responsible for paying any outside bills the academy may incur (Art Class, etc.).
Jan Thompson - Newsletter Editor/Field Trip Coordinator: Mrs. Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Georgia in 1990, and has been working in the Information Technology field ever since. She has been homeschooling her son for over 8 years and also assists her husband at his IT consulting company. Mrs. Thompson brings her skills to BHG by editing the monthly newsletter, coordinating science, history and geography fairs, and organizing field trips. Her greatest desire in life is to glorify her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Jeannine Christian - Home Economics: Mrs. Christian graduated from Bob Jones University in 1998 with a BS in Home Economics Education. She has taught homeschool classes for several years. and has over 30 years experience in sewing including formal wear, alterations, major production costuming, quilting, sewing for the home & garment construction.
Julia Wichman - Elementary and High School Art: Julia grew up in Snellville and graduated from homeschool in 2007. She received a B.S. in Commercial Art from Pensacola Christian College in May 2011 and now works as a framer at Hobby Lobby while continuing to follow her passion to paint and draw. She strives to glorify God with her art by calling attention to the beauty that God has created. She has been teaching art for all grade levels for a year now and loves it!!
Suellen Stroup - Elementary and Teen Choir: Mrs. Stroup began taking private music lessons at the age of three, and has studied violin, voice and piano. She has a BS in Music Education with voice and piano and is trained in YAMAHA music education group piano methods. She began teaching private and group lessons in 1990 and has led many choirs and groups and has written several programs.

Robin Foster - "Fun"damentals of Speech: Mrs. Foster graduated from Bob Jones University with a BS in Speech Education in 1994. She has taught 4th and 5th grade as well as high school speech in a Christain school setting. As the Education Coordinator at Jo-Ann Etc., she taught various craft classes and was responsible for scheduling and hiring instructors. She has a home-based custom embroidery business and plans to home school her two adopted daughters this year.

Chris Niarchos - Physical Education: Mr. Niarchos graduated with his degree in Youth Ministries from Northland Baptist Bible College in 2010. He is currently the Assistant to the Pastor at Berean Baptist Church. He is also currently working on his master’s degree in Biblical Counseling. His responsibilities at Berean include the following: supervision over all aspects of the Children’s Ministry at Berean, as well as opportunities with the Youth, Young Singles, and oversight of the Berean Website. Chris grew up playing sports and even played Basketball, and Volleyball at the college level. He also had a few opportunities as a personal trainer while at college.
